Ohhhhh, Kimmie!!! He's too precious in more ways than one. You've captured his persona beautifully with this lovely watercolor. Beautiful work! Hugs, Terri xoxo
Beautiful drawing, and thanks for the links. I have enjoyed reading over the last couple of week's posts (I have been quite distracted from blogging by some personal stressors). Your words and images are profound. Even though the well is theoretically "capped" I have not been able to rest easy when thinking about that region - or our oceans in general (also with the current spill in China).
You captured him perfectly Kimmie. :) They released 90 more hatchlings yesterday morning on Padre Island. I didn't get to be there at this release, but I was there in spirit. It's amazing...they let them out on the sand and as soon as the sun comes up they start running for the water. After that....the odds are getting greater against them.
Glad to see you have resumed your series. The turtles are a great way to complete it. I love what you are painting and this latest work is no exception. Thanks for the links and the information.
