happy earth day

In celebration of Earth Day
I just want to revisit some of my older projects using recycled stuff.

Like this Chili Cook-Off Trophy:

And this Garden Fairy named Mathilda:

And her friend named Betty:

And "Bicycle Dream Pie" .... something I made using a Fat Tire Ale beer carton and an apple pie tin:

Or the wall jewelry I made using an Alaskan Pale Ale label and a tin can lid:

Now doesn't that just make you want to go out and pick through your recycling bin looking for treasure?

  9. I had NO idea you used so many recycled materials in your art. Glad you reposted these. You are truly a woman after my own heart. You have even inspired me to get out my metal and begin playing. However, I won't be doing much playing till I get all my new "stuff" put away. And probably the first thing I'll do is make one of those cool brooches like Dianne did.
